This morning was a special morning! First I had such a good night sleep! Even though I drank a load of water I slept through most of the night only waking about 3 times rather than 20 one of the times to take Riley out to go potty. Vin had to wake up at 7:30 this morning and I got to sleep until 8:00. Before he left he came in to give me a goodbye kiss and said it was snowing outside! Finally! Our house was so peaceful this morning. I opened all the curtains and sat and ate my cereal and watched the snow falling. I wish it would stick around a little longer than it does. Oh well, I am thankful for even a little.
I took D street to work today because I knew it would be super beautiful as it’s lined with oak trees and cute old houses. Everything looked like it was dusted with powdered sugar. I also stopped at Starbucks and got a chai. So between the warm comfort of my chai and the beautiful white snow falling I was a pretty happy girl.
I have the news on so I can watch the weather. I love working in this office. It’s more like working at home. I sit next to a large window that overlooks a fence. On the other side of the fence there are about 3 or 4 bird feeders so I get to watch all these tiny adorable birds play and act cute all day!
Ok, I had better get to work~ I want the day to go fast so I can be home with Vin!
