But when we kissed you locked me up....

Our anniversary was wonderful. A very romantic MUCH needed dinner with Vin really did a lot for me! I feel our lives have been on a never ending roller coaster ride, and it suddenly has stopped for a break. Marriage is a wonderful, hard, exciting, fulfilling, blessed thing. I couldn't imagine life with anyone other than Vin Thomas.

On another note, I am enjoying some quiet time while Cohen is sleeping. Poor baby has a cold still. I finally got her a humidifier for her room and I think it is helping a lot. I pray The Lord heals her sweet little body and helps her to feel better soon! I hate how helpless she is. It's just not fair!

One thing I LOVE about fall is, I like to make my house smell as if cookies are in the oven so I simmer water, cinnamon, sometimes other spices, and vanilla on the stove. I bring it to a boil then let it sit and fill the air with warm yummy smells! I love it. People always think I am baking! It's a good way to enjoy something sweet and not have to eat it.

Also, I have a great idea for a new blanket design! I have been wanting to make some blankets but feel they wouldn't be competitive enough against the much loved Giraffe blanket and a bunch of others that I know are huge sellers. Even Wal Mart has some wonderful very affordable blankets. I know I don't like to buy too many super expensive blankets but I love having a variety of them. My idea came the other day. I was in Starbucks with Coco and she was desperately trying to fall asleep. I proceeded to pull out my very versatile travel changing pad to lay down on the seat of a comfy chair. It protects her from laying directly on the dirty fabric. One thing I needed was a blanket! She wasn't covered. I had to use a burp cloth. I was going to pack one but they are too bulky to take along. I usually just leave the diaper bag in the car and take a diaper/wipes clutch bag with me and her travel changing pad. They fit nicely in my purse and I can just go to the car if I need a change of clothes or something. Well, I decided I am going to create a beautiful, warm, ultra thin blanket that can fold up super small and thin so I can take it when I go out and about. I'll use warm flannel so it's warm and cozy, but wont be super thick like a normal blanket. I am excited to get on my new project! I will try and get some made and on the website soon.

Ok well, I need to go and get around while the co is sleeping :-)

<3,
Kesh.
