Mathew 5:16
16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.
I love doing that. I felt I needed some inspiration from The Lord and He definitely gave it to me. This verse confirms to me that, as Christians we ought to do good things according to Jesus' spirit and that we ought to be sensitive to His spirit in our lives so that we can show others The Love He offers. I DO NOT believe good works are necessary for a non Christian to become a Christian, or for Christians to justify themselves by doing good works to prove they are actually saved. I think so many Christians think, if they or others are not actively doing "good things" they are not actually saved. How sad.That's all...
