Seasons

The season is changing. The smell of fall is overwhelming in the early morning! I wake up to feed Coco and open the sliding glass door and smell the cold crisp fall air. It brings me back to school! Elementary to be exact. That smell of morning in the fall, there is nothing like it. It makes me think of old classrooms smell, pencil smells, school bus smells. I know everyone knows what I am talking about!

I am excited that I can vicariously live those moments again through Cohen! It will be so fun to be a part of her school experience. I want to be a huge part in her life. I want to volunteer in her classes, lead feild trips, do all those fun things! It will be great! My mom would always make my lunches and write me little notes and sometimes even put little toys in my lunch! It was so great. I can't wait for that!

On another note, life changes like seasons. I feel like it's Summer in my life, and Fall is coming. I feel sad about the change from Summer to Fall but as soon as Fall comes I adjust well and take it as it comes! I pray The Lord has His hand on my life and my family's lives. I say I am a Christian, then I am going to walk the walk and trust Christ. I know He will only take me places He knows are best. Sometimes it doesn't seem ideal when He does the choosing, but ultimately it is right.

Anyway, my hubby is falling asleep as I write, so I am going to get him to bed!
