Out with the old and in with the new!

Imagine living every day in the past and being haunted by what mistakes you have made, what things you lived through that hurt you, the things you regret so much and wish so badly could be erased. Miserable! Christ does not want that for us! In our lives we are always learning and making mistakes. We make some worse than others but still, things that hurt us and even worse hurt ones we love. We need to move on from those things in our past. We need to allow Christ to live on in our lives and in our hearts. We need Him to take us far away from the old and take us deep into the new!

In my life He is doing that. He is truly showing me the new and exciting abundant life He has in store for me and even better for my family. I feel Him getting me ready to take this step into motherhood. I can feel Him creating for me a content heart and living out His peace in my life.
I see it in Vins life, even more than my own sometimes. I see how Christ has taken him far away from the things he has lived through and regretted. I know he lives with a new vision, Christ. I see so evidently how he looks forward to our life together and his responsibility as a husband and father. He encourages me so much! I'm so thankful to The Lord for leading us in our lives.
