On to the next holiday!

So it was Halloween last night and we had a good time! Vin and I went to our friends for dinner and a movie. We had some yummy soup and bread and watched The Exorcism of Emily Rose. Just a little bit creepy! It’s based on a true story so that made it even creepier. And of course I had a scary dream last night in response to the movie. Oh well. It was expected.
Vin and I were really excited because there were lots of trick-or-treaters that came by! We had bought the full size candy bars at Costco to hand out and assumed we would only have a couple kids. When the first few came to the door we were generous and offered them each two candy bars! Then they just kept coming! When the next batch of kids came we said, “OK just take one please.” But their little paws tried to grab two! I think they were just set on the fact we were giving out two since the kids before got two. They were shocked when we said just take one. Well turns out we were the hottest place on the street! A little girl about 6 told us her brother was telling all the kids about us! Haha. That was cute  what kid doesn’t like full size candy bars on Halloween!
I’m working a full day today. I usually work all day Thursday but switched with my co-worker as she had a dentist appointment. I feel tired today, and I think I am feeling the nausea coming on  I’ll keep my focus on the fact we are going out to dinner tonight to the Olive Garden. That will be my highlight today! And maybe the scarf I am knitting. I think I will take some time and work on that.

Anyway it’s a beautiful but FREEZING day today! I am enjoying the office with the fireplace, and I am dreading heading out to my car for lunch.

Hope you all are feeling blessed!

Kesh~

A house that hands out full size candy bars!! Kids do love it! lol We have hit at least one the last three years. They always want to go back to that house, I think if we had this year we would have been caught as there were very few trick or treaters, and very very few houses handing out candy. I was quite surprised, we like to go out to the neighborhood around Mckinley elementary, and South high.

Anyways... Mmmm! Olive Garden, one of only a handful of GOOD food left out there in restaurants in this town.
