Come away with me...

I am craving a weekend away with Vin. I was telling him how I wished we could get away! Mike and Adrian went to Sun river last weekend! I bet it was awesome! That place is a wonderland. Grant and Tamara are headed away this weekend, I am not sure where to but I'm sure someplace fun for them! I'm baking cookies today. I made some rice crispy treats, cream cheese mints and sugar cookies and now I am waiting for them to cool so I can decorate them and take them to work with me. It's funny, this year is the first year I haven't had a real Christmas tree. Even when I lived alone I would go pick out a cute little tree and decorate it. I don't think I am going to make a tradition of "getting the fake Fiberglas tree out of the attic each year with the kids" I can't handle it... This little fake tree that Vin got us is adorable, and I think it will be a great outdoor decoration for the years to come. I just love the idea of going to a tree farm with boots and rag clothes, riding that back of a trailer drinking hot cocoa or cider. The cold wind in your face and the hay under your bum. Hiking out to find the perfect tree and cutting it down! So fun! Anyway enough about all that, I NEED to go give Vin a kiss right this second while he's still asleep on the couch!
