ENGAGED!!!

So OH MY WORD I am finally engaged to the man of my dreams! The Lord had this day planned for sure. I'm so happy! Here is the story.... Vin and I have been together all day, and we head downtown to Sip to visit Grant and Tamara. Prior to that Vin and I had been ring shopping at this nice place in Keizer and I found a ring I liked a lot and assumed since we were looking at rings he for sure had not bought one yet but, was I wrong! So anyway we head to Sip and are hanging out with Grant downstairs about to leave to meet Courtney and Andy at the Ram for dinner, Grant was going to wait for Tamara because she had to work until 10 and then they were going to meet up with us after that, so Grant asks Vin and me if we would mind running his lap top home really quick so he didn't have to leave it sit in his car while we were at The Ram, I thought it was a little strange of him to ask us to drive all the way across town to drop it off but I just went with it because I understood he didn't want to leave it in his car. So Vin and I head across town and drop off the lap top at Grant and Tamaras apartment. Vin got a phone call right before we were leaving to go to The Ram. He answered "Hi Mom" so I just assumed it was his mom but it wasn't! And you will see who it was as I go on. Anyway he gets back in and we head across the street to the Circle K because Vin said he had a headache and needed something for it, so we go in and buy some Advil or something, all seems normal right? Well yes until.... We are driving out of the parking lot and he goes straight through an intersection when it was a turn only. I was praying there was no cops around because he didn't have his wallet with him! Also... He drives a sporty car and ever since we have been dating I have pretty much been pulled over with him more times that I can remember, not really more like 5 or so, anyway I was just hoping and praying a cop didn't see. He drove across the intersection into an Arbys parking lot to turn around and I notice a cop car behind us following and I am SO scared! We keep going and it follows and sure enough on come the flashing lights. My heart sank and I was so sad and upset! Vin pulled over into a parking lot and the cop comes over to my side of the window and asks Vin for his License and proof of insurance. Well he and I had just cleaned out his car and so he apparently had placed the insurance in his trunk so he gets out of the car to get it and realizes its not there! Plus he didn't have his license so I was so sure he was going to get a ticket. He walks over to my side of the car as well, and the Cop asks "Now what are you doing?" and he opens my door and asks me to open the glove compartment and check if it's in there and as I open I notice the ring and rose and card that read "like a thief in the night" which was what Vin would always tell me about proposing because I was so set on the idea I couldn't be surprised! Anyway so I notice this stuff inside and slam it shut real fast thinking I had opened something that wasn't supposed to be opened yet! I thought I ruined the surprise! Or the cop did atleast! So vin reaches over and opens it again, grabs the ring and my hand and asks me to marry him on his knee in the rain with a cop right next to us, and before I could answer yes I look up at the cop and say " You are in this!" and realize what was happening and so I turn my eyes back to my Love and said YES! And It was done! HOW STINKING AMAZING IS HE! That was the absolute GREATEST proposal in history for sure! I love my baby. He is so wonderful and I am so blessed that God chose him for me. Thank you Lord! He planned the whole darn thing with the cop and all. We had a fun friend filled dinner celebration after and it was so far, the best night of my life!
