Happiness isn't hard to find

I decided, not just now in my life but not too long ago that true happiness is as close to us as a door handle. Being human, I spend about 90% of my time seeking it when I know already where it lies. I think of it in two ways. God of course brings us happiness but I believe he places it for us on earth and inside ourselves. Imagine being what your heart desires. No matter what that might be, imagine not being scared of what someone may think, or what it could do. Imagine being free of the thought of failure or disappointment. Would it make you happy? I thought about letting my true colors shine through, being who God created me to be, trying hard not to sell myself short or forget that I am wonderfully designed and made by an amazing maker for a reason. I have a hope that I was created for someone, to compliment someone, to be a wife and have a soul mate whom God chose for me. Those thoughts alone bring me happiness. Using the joy we undeniably have within our hearts everyday and just plain living brings happiness to me. Hope alone and simple pleasures make me happy. I thank the Lord for when I can understand that about myself.
